A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH LEVY CONCRETE CO. TO PROVIDE
THE CITY READY -MIX CONCRETE
SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City needs to contract on an annual basis to
provide Ready Mix Concrete for various City projects, and
WHEREAS, Levy Concrete Company of North Little Rock,
Arkansas, provided the lowest responsible and responsive bid for
these services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an
annual contract with Levy Concrete Co. of North Little Rock,
Arkansas, for a total amount not to exceed $75,000, to provide
Ready Mix Concrete for City Projects as follows:
(a) CONCRETE -- 1 YARD
(i) 2000 PSI $114 Delivered $54 Nondelivered
(ETC) Complete according to the attached chart)
Section 2. Funds for this contract shall come from Account
No. 200 - 220 - 2210 -3020.
