A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD AN
ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
REMANUFACTURED ALLISON TRANSMISSIONS
FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF FLEET
SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Fleet Services has an annual contract to
remanufacture Allison Transmissions, and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder to
respond to a competitive bid to provide this service was United
Engines,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept a bid
from United Engines for an amount not to exceed $23,000, to
provide remanufactured Allison Transmissions.
Section 2. The funding for this purchase shall come from
Account No. 600 - 360- 604- 09201.

bid. It is further recommended that this contract be renewed for one
additional year with City Managers approval.
