A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE
OF IOT 9, POPE'S ADDITION FOR THE
RIVERFRONT PLAZA PROJECT.

WHEREAS, Lot 9, Pope's Addition has been identified as
property necessary for inclusion within the Riverfront Plaza
Project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock (the "City ") and the owners
of Lot 9 have negotiated a purchase price for the property; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors have previously
appropriated funds for the purchase in Little Rock Resolution No.
9,350; and
WHEREAS, the City should proceed with the purchase of the
property for the public project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to purchase
Lot 9, Pope's Addition, for the consideration of Two Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($200,000) plus the City's share of closing costs
as required by such documents approved by the City Attorney, and
to execute such documents as are necessary to accomplish the
acquisition of the property.
