A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN ENGINEERING
SERVICES CONTRACT WITH AMI
ENGINEERING, INC. FOR RECONSTRUCTION
OF BOOKER STREET FROM ASHER AVENUE
TO ROOSEVELT ROAD, AND PULASKI
STREET FROM 30TH STREET NORTH TO THE
END, A 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
LOCAL STREET PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this project will reconstruct the streets to
27 -foot wide streets with curbs and gutters, underground storm
sewers and sidewalks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an
engineering services contract with Grimes Consulting Engineers,
the most qualified bidder meeting specifications, in an amount
not to exceed $32,920 ($29,928 contract fee plus 10%
contingency) , for reconstruction of Booker Street from Asher
Avenue to Roosevelt Road, and Pulaski Street from 30th Street
North to the end, a 1988 Capital Improvement Local Street
Project.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 301 - 220 -0061.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
