RESOLUTION NO. 9,444
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING ON AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND THE
CITY OF SHANNON HILLS FOR THE EXTENSION OF SEWER
SERVICE TO THE CITY OF SHANNON HILLS AND FOR
TREATMENT OF SEWAGE FROM SHANNON HILLS
WHEREAS, an ordinance has been filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas approving a
contract between the City of Shannon Hills ( "Shannon
Hills "), and the City of Little Rock for the extension of
sewer service to Shannon Hills and for the treatment of
sewage from Shannon Hills by certain sewage disposal works
owned by the City of Little Rock and operated through the
Little Rock Sanitary Sewer Committee and the Little Rock
Wastewater Utility; and
WHEREAS, under the laws of the State of Arkansas, a
public hearing on said Ordinance must be held before its
enactment.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The public hearing on said ordinance will
be held at
the meeting of
the Board
of
Directors in
the
City
Hall at
Little Rock,
Arkansas,
on
the _1st
day
of
August , 1995.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law. \
