RESOLUTION NO. 9.382 •
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE A PORTION OF EAST
TENTH STREET, ROGERS STREET, LOREN STREET, CARSON
STREET AND THE ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 51 AND 56, ALL IN
INDUSTRIAL PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND TO ABANDON ANY EASEMENTS
LOCATED WITHIN THE RIGHT -OF -WAY OF CARSON AND
LOREN STREETS BETWEEN EAST 9TH AND EAST 10TH
STREETS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 14th
day of April, 1995, asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon a portion of East 10th Street from the east side
of the alley in Block 50 to the east side of Block 57;
Rogers Street (aka River Street), Loren Street (aka Lawson
Street) , and Carson Street, all between East 9th and East
10th Streets, and the alleys in Blocks 51 and 56, Industrial
Park Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing of
record in Plat Book 2, Page 163, in the Office of the
Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas; and to abandon any
easements located within the right -of -way of Carson and
Loren Streets between East 9th and East 10th Streets
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said Petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 6th day of June, 1995.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
