A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1995 -1999
CONSOLIDATES PLAN FOR SUB?IISSION TO
THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT. (FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT, HOME
INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM, AND
EMERGENCY SHELTER GRANT PROGRAM) .

WHEREAS, the City is required by the DHUD to submit a
Consolidated Plan establishing priorities and coordinating all
housing and community development activities; and
WHEREAS, the Consolidated Plan serves as the application
for Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment
Partnership Program and Emergency Shelter Grant Program funding;
and
WHEREAS, the Consolidated Plan qualifies the City to
receive $3,601,000 (CDBG, HOME & ESG) in HUD entitlement funding
to accomplish housing, infrastructure, public service, and
economic development activities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to approve the
1995 -1999 Consolidated Plan for submission to DHUD.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
