A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF PICKUP
TRUCKS FOR THE FLEET SERVICES
DEPARTMENT.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Dick Layton Buick /GMC of Little Rock,
Arkansas, the most qualified bidder meeting specifications, in
an amount not to exceed $54,900 for the purchase of four (4)
one -half (1/2) ton pickup trucks for the Fleet Services
Department.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Dick Layton Buick /GMC of Little Rock,
Arkansas, the most qualified bidder meeting specifications, in
an amount not to exceed $30,352 for the purchase of two (2)
three - fourth (3/4) ton pickup trucks for the Fleet Services
Department.
SECTION 3. Funds are available for these purchases in
account number 600 - 360- 6020- 6021 -7060.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
