A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND ENTER
INTO A CONTRACT WITH CRANFORD
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE 1.995
STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Cranford Construction Company of North Little
Rock, Arkansas, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an
amount not to exceed $2,000,000 ($1,743,928.74 contract amount,
plus 15% contingency), for the 1995 Street Resurfacing Program.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose from the
sale of the 1995 Capital Improvement Bonds and surplus 1994
street accounts.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
