A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
NANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH GARVER + CARVER, P.A. FOR
STRUCTURAL EVALUATION AND TO DESIGN
REPAIRS FOR THE HILARO SPRINGS AND
THE LITTLE FOURCHE BRIDGE, A 1995
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department
has inspected the bridge and found the bridge needed structural
repairs and painting; and
WHEREAS, failure to complete these repairs could result in
loss of Federal Aid Matching Monies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to Garver + Garver, P.A. of Little Rock,
Arkansas, the most qualified bidder meeting specifications, in
an amount not to exceed $33,000 ($30,000 plus 10% contingency)
for structural evaluation and to design repairs for the Hilaro
Springs and the Little Fourche Bridge.
SECTION 2. Funds will be available from the sale of 1995
Capital Improvement Bonds.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
