RESOLUTION No. 9, 3 3 6
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH LASSITER ASPHALT FOR CONSTRUCTION
SERVICES FOR PHASE I REFINEMENTS AT THE
RIVERFEST AMPHITHEATRE.
WHEREAS, this project will enhance public safety, user experience and overall
aesthetic value of the Riverfest Amphitheatre.
WHEREAS, Riverfest, Inc. has committed to provide $50,000 toward the construction
of a perimeter fence at the Riverfest Amphitheatre.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept a $50,000 contribution
from Riverfest, Inc. into the Riverfront East Project Account.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is authorized to enter into a contract with Lassiter
Asphalt, the low bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $204,000 for
construction services as specified in the Request for Proposal.
SECTION 3: Funds are available for this purpose in account number 301 - 230 -0047
with additional funds available from Riverfest, Inc. in the amount of $50,000.
SECTION 4: This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
