A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO UTILIZE FEDERAL
AID MONIES.
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Board of Directors
understands Federal -Aid Surface Transportation Enhancement
funds are available at 80% Federal participation and 20%
local cash match for the Rebsamen Parkway Pedestrian and
Bicycle Trail - Phase II project that is west of Jimerson
Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City of Little Rock will participate
in accordance with its designated responsibility, including
maintenance of this project.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized
and directed to execute all appropriate agreements and
contracts necessary to expedite the construction of the
above stated improvement.
SECTION 3: The Board of Directors of the City of
Little rock pledges its full support and hereby authorizes
the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department to
initiate action to implement this project.
