A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXTEND THE CURRENT
AGREEMENT WITH ARKANSAS MUNICIPAL
LEAGUE TO PROVIDE WORRffi2.S•
COMPENSATION THIRD PARTY
ADMINISTRATION (TPA) SERVICES FOR A
SIX (6) MONTH PERIOD BEGINNING
JANUARY 1, 1995.
WHEREAS, the Executive Director of the Arkansas Municipal
League has notified the City that the League wishes to continue
providing TPA services for the City's Workers' Compensation
program; and
WHEREAS, the Arkansas Municipal League Board of Trustees
previously indicated that services would not be offered after
December 31, 1994; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed proposals from other providers
of TPA services and recommend the six (6) month extension of the
current agreement to complete the normal contract year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to extend
the current agreement with Arkansas Municipal League to provide
Workers' Compensation Third Party Administration (TPA) services
for a six (6) month period beginning January 1, 1995.
