RESOLUTION NO. 9,266
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ALLOCATE REMAINING FUNDS FROM THE 1988
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF PARKING LOT AND SUB -BASE PREPARATION OF
PAVILION /RESTROOM BUILDING; AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
LASITER ASPHALT MAINTENANCE COMPANY FOR SAME,
A 1988 BOND PROJECT;
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15,473 appropriated
$1,000,000 for construction of a Police Substation, and
$8,690,000 for Parks and Recreation improvements; and
WHEREAS, The Police Substation at the Southwest
Community complex is now complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
allocate $100,000 from the 1988 Capital Improvement Bond
Fund appropriated for the Police Substation to Special
Project Account 301 - 230 -0051.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
award a contract to Lasiter Asphalt Maintenance Company for
construction of parking lot and sub -base preparation of
pavilion /restroom building in an amount of $90,000.
