A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH RICHARD A STEPHENS AND
ASSOCIATES FOR REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL
AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR
RIGHT -OF -WAY ACQUISITION FOR THE
WIDENING OF MABELVALE PIKE FROM GUM
SPRINGS ROAD TO GEYER SPRINGS ROAD,
A 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this project will widen Mabelvale Pike to four
lanes and include curb and gutter and underground storm
drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Richard A. Stephens and Associates, the low bidder
meeting specifications, in an amount not to exceed $27,800
($25,255 fee plus 10% contingency), for real estate appraisal
and environmental services for right -of -way acquisition for the
Mabelvale Pike, Gum Springs to Geyer Springs, 1988 Capital
Improvement Bond Project.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 301 - 220 -0056.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
