RESOLUTION NO. 9,238 441
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING THE LITTLE
ROCK SCHOOL BOARD REPRESENTATIVE TO
SERVE ON THE LITTLE ROCK PLANNING
WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark. Rev. Code S 23 -27 states that
the Planning Commission shall consist of eleven (11) members of
which one (1) shall be a member of the Little Rock School Board
or its appointed representative who shall be selected by such
Board and approved by the Little Rock Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vacancy for on the Little
Rock Planning Commission for the position of the Little Rock
School Board representative; and
Wf REAS, Little Rock School Board has submitted the resume
of Mizan Rahman as its representative for the Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors accepts the recommendation
of the Little Rock School Board and appoints Mizan Rahman to the
Little Rock Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Mizan Rahman is hereby appointed by the Little
Rock Board of Directors to serve as the Little Rock School Board
representative on the Little Rock Planning Commission, for a
term of three (3) years and until his successor is appointed and
qualified.
