A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE LITTLE ROCK PORT INDUSTRIAL PARK; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Total Petroleum, Inc., a Michigan corporation
( "Total ") , desires to purchase certain property located in the
Little Rock Port Industrial Park owned by the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas (the "City "), as follows: _
A TRACT OF LAND SITUATED IN THE NW-14 SE-14, SECTION 16,
TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 11 WEST, LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS
FOLLOWS:
COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE NW; SE, SECTION
16; THENCE SOUTH 01 DEGREES 30 MINUTES 52 SECONDS WEST
ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID NW4 SE;, FOR A DISTANCE OF
11.64 FEET; THENCE NORTH 88 DEGREES 29 MINUTES 08 SECONDS
WEST, 96.50 FEET TO A 1/2" REBAR ON THE EAST RIGHT OF WAY
LINE OF FOURCHE DAM PIKE; THENCE SOUTH 78 DEGREES 47
MINUTES 32 SECONDS WEST ALONG THE SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE
OF THE LITTLE ROCK PORT RAILROAD 210.55 FEET TO A 1/2"
REBAR AT THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE SOUTH 08 DEGREES
42 MINUTES 19 SECONDS EAST, 315.43 FEET TO A 1/2" REBAR
ON THE NORTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF LINDSEY ROAD; THENCE
SOUTH 74 DEGREES 53 MINUTES 43 SECONDS WEST ALONG SAID
RIGHT OF WAY LINE 118.82 FEET; THENCE NORTH 15 DEGREES 06
MINUTES 17 SECONDS WEST, 323.90 FEET TO THE SOUTH RIGHT
OF WAY LINE OF THE LITTLE ROCK PORT RAILROAD; THENCE
NORTH 78 DEGREES 46 MINUTES 23 SECONDS EAST ALONG SAID
RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY LINE 154.33 FEET TO THE POINT OF
BEGINNING. (PROPOSED TRACT Q, AREA 201, LITTLE ROCK PORT
INDUSTRIAL PARK)
and
WHEREAS, the City has been offered the sum of $150,000 for the
property described above and is prepared to sell the property for
such price;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The Board hereby finds that the proposed sale will
secure and develop industry in the Little Rock Port Industrial
Park, thereby providing substantial employment and payrolls.
Section 2. The sale of the property as substantially
described herein to Total for the consideration stated is hereby
approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City a Warranty Deed and the

appropriate Plat and Bill of Assurance, conveying said property,
and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest said
instruments and to deliver the same to the Office of the City
Attorney for delivery of same to Total upon full payment of
consideration in the sum of $150,000.
Section 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from the date of its adoption.
