A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO REZONE PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, 3 0 r2
ARKANSAS, TO 0-3 GENERAL OFFICE FROM I -1
INDUSTRIAL PARK AND OS OPEN SPACE; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City has learned of an interest to reclassify
certain property presently zoned I -1 Industrial Park and OS open
Space to 0-3 General Office; and
WHEREAS, this property which is located near Fourche Dam
Pike and Kellett Road is appropriate for this reclassification;
and
WHEREAS, the only reason the Board does not complete this
rezoning on this date is that state law requires a certain
period of time for public notice before such a reclassification
occurs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The Board states its intent to reclassify the
property noted on the attached ordinance from I -1 Industrial
Park and OS Open Space to 0 -3 General Office during its meeting
on September 6, 1994, and further states that if state law did
not require a certain period of time for notice, that it would
grant this rezoning request on this date.
Section 2. The Board states that it has reviewed the
application for this rezoning, understands the nature of the
project to be located here, and states affirmatively that this
change in classification is consistent with the overall
development within the area.
