A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO PLACE PROCEEDS FROM TREE THINNING AT
MOREHART AND HINDMAN PARRS INTO THE
SPECIAL PARR REPAIR PROJECT ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, principles of urban forestry provide for
thinning of park environments; and
WHEREAS, Parks worked closely with neighborhood
groups to involve them in refinement of the character of
these community parks; and
WHEREAS, bids were sought for the thinning of trees
in Morehart and Hindman Parks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
place the proceeds of tree thinning at Morehart and Hindman
Parks from Talbert Pulpwood in the amount of $9,807.07 into
the Parks Special Account, Park Repairs, 210 - 230 -0319.
