WHEREAS, the City is considering whether to renew its cable television franchise with Comcast, Inc., formerly Storer Cable Television; and WHEREAS, the parties have agreed that the communities needs assessment can occur on July 6, 1994. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. A public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m. on July 6, 1994, for the purpose of determining the needs of the community when deciding whether, and under what terms, to renew the cable television franchise currently held by Comcast, Inc. SECTION 2. The City Manager is directed to publicize this public hearing as completely as possible in any medium necessary to assure maximum public input at this hearing.
