RESOLUTION NO. 9,179
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT
WITH THE XEROX CORPORATION TO LEASE
A COPIER FOR THE PRINT SHOP FOR
THIRTY -SIX (36) MONTHS.
WHEREAS, the present machine is ten years old and parts are
becoming more difficult to locate; and
WHEREAS, the Print Shop can no longer operate productively
and provide the services to all departments with the present
machine; and
WHEREAS, in the event funds are not available to continue
the lease the agreement may be terminated without penalty; and
WHEREAS, the City is not obligated to purchase the
equipment at the end of the lease period.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a
lease and maintenance contract with the Xerox Corporation in the
amount of $136,776 for a copier for the Print Shop for
thirty -six (36) months.
