RESOLUTION NO. 9,170
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH TRI -STAR
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR REHABILITATION AND
DEVELOPMENT OF SOCCER FIELDS AT HENDERSON
JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16,256 appropriated
$89,809.61 into a special project for development of soccer
fields and site improvements at Henderson Junior High
School; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock School District has
committed $35,000 to the Henderson Junior High School Soccer
Field Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
accept $35,000 from the Little Rock School District into the
Henderson Junior High School Soccer Field Project.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
award a contract to Tri -Star Construction Company for
rehabilitation and development of soccer fields at Henderson
Junior High School in an amount of $106,000.
