A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT TO 3D MANUFACTURING FOR THE
PURCHASE OF AN AERIAL PLATFORM
FIRE TRUCK.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to 3D Manufacturing of Shawano, Wisconsin,
the low bidder meeting specifications, in an amount not to
exceed $475,500 for the purchase of an aerial platform fire
truck.
SECTION 2. Funds are available for this purpose in account
number 600 - 360 - 6028 - 6021 -7060.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.

RECOMMENDATION AND DISCUSSION: It is recommended that the award be given to
the low bidder meeting specification, 3D Manufacturing. KME was disqualified
for failure to provide references from four cities that makes a minimum of 650
runs a year (the average for the City of Little Rock) . This was a required
specification for this bid and KME only provided one reference.
