A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE AN EASEMENT AND OTHER
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR ALLTEL CELLULAR
ASSOCIATES TO CONSTRUCT A MONOPOLE AT RAY
WINDER FIELD

WHEREAS, Alltel Cellular Associates of Arkansas Limited
Partnership ("Alltel ") has negotiated with the Arkansas
Travelers Baseball Club ( "Travelers ") to construct a cellular
cell site at Ray Winder Field; and
WHEREAS, Alltel desires access over City owned land to
construct and maintain the cellular cell cite; and
WHEREAS, Alltel and the Travelers have negotiated for the
placement of monopole and pertinent facilities at Ray Winder;
and
WHEREAS, the exact location of the easement and the legal
description and location of the monopole and equipment shall be
determined by the management of Ray Winder Field such that it
will not interfere with the operation of the ball park or
existing facilities;
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department have
determined that the proposed location of the facilities will not
interfere with park purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to
execute documents, including an easement and such other
documents as approved by the City Attorney, for the installation
of an Alltel cellular cell site at the Ray Winder Field
compound.
