RESOLUTION NO. 9139
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE
REFUSE CARTS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS
DEPARTMENT /SANITATION DIVISION.
WHEREAS, the City has submitted competitive bids to provide
a contract for 40,000 ninety gallon refuse carts and 1,000 sixty
gallon refuse carts; and
WHEREAS, the qualified low bidder in this competitive
bidding process has been recommended to receive this award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into a
contract with Zarn, Incorporated of Reidsville, North Carolina, in
an amount not to exceed $1,468,150.00 to provide mobile refuse
carts for the Public Works Department /Sanitation Division.
SECTION 2. Funding is available in the Waste Disposal
Revenue Bond Fund, account number 603 -220- 2110 -7119,
ADOPTED: April 5, 1994
