A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RAILROAD FOR
A JOINT USE DRAINAGE AREA AS PART OF
THE UNIVERSITY DRAIN, A 1988 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECT.
WHEREAS, this project will construct a new roadway between
South University and Chicot Road, as well as improve the
Cloverdale Drain between I -30 and Chicot Road; and
WHEREAS, the drainage improvements include an enlarged
waterway opening under the Missouri Pacific Railroad and an
improved open drainage channel within the existing railroad
right -of -way; and
WHEREAS, this agreement will allow the City and it's agents
to perform construction and maintenance work within the railroad
right -of -way.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an
Agreement with the Missouri Pacific Railroad for a joint use
drainage area as part of the University - Chicot- Cloverdale Drain, a
1988 Capital Improvement Bond Project.-
