A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE LITTLE ROCK PORT
INDUSTRIAL PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. .

WHEREAS, John Maneely Company, a Pennsylvania corporation
( "Maneely ") , desires to purchase certain property located in the
Little Rock Port Industrial Park owned by the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas (the "City "), as follows:
A tract of land situated in the NE;, NW;,
Section 22, and in the NW4, NW;, Section 22,
all in Township 1 North, Range it West, City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
being a part of Area 103 as shown on the
Little Rock Port Industrial Park Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas recorded in
Plat Book 27, Page 86 in the Circuit Clerk's
Office, Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the NW Corner of said Section
22; thence S01 025141" W, along the West line
of said Section 22, for a distance of 60.00
feet to the South Right -of -Way line of Frazier
Pike; thence S87 952109" E, along said South
Right -of -Way line,1286.99 feet to the
Northeast corner of the Wheatland Tube
property, also being the Point of Beginning;
thence continuing along said South Right -of-
Way line S87 052109" E, 518.16 feet; thence
S02 007151" W, 1261.47 feet to the South line
of the N2, NW, of said Section 22, also being
the South boundary of said Little Rock Port
Industrial Park addition; thence N87 046135" W,
along said South line of the Nk, NW4, for a
distance of 518.16 feet to the West line of
said Wheatland Tube property; thence
N02007151" E, along the West line of the
Wheatland Tube property, 1260.63 feet to the
Point of Beginning, said tract of land
containing 15.00 acres (653,400 S.F.j, more or
less;
and
WHEREAS, the City has been offered the sum of $262,500
for the property described above and is prepared to sell the
property for such price;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:

1 Section 1. The Board hereby finds that the proposed sale
2 will secure and develop industry in the Little Rock Port Industrial
3 Park, thereby providing substantial employment and payrolls.

5 Section 2. The sale of the property as substantially
6 described herein to Maneely for the consideration stated is hereby
7 approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to
8 execute for and on behalf of the City a warranty Deed and the
9 appropriate Plat and Bill of Assurance, conveying said property,
10 and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to attest
11 said instruments and to deliver the same to the Office of the City
12 Attorney for delivery of same to Maneely upon full payment of
13 consideration in the sum of $262,500.

15 Section 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
16 effect from the date of its adoption.
