A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A RADIO EQUIPMENT
MAINTENANCE CONTRACT WITH MOTOROLA
WITH AN OPTION TO RENEW FOR A ONE
YEAR BASIS ON A YEAR -TO -YEAR BASIS
UP TO THREE YEARS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, the City has created a state of the art 800 MHZ
radio system; and
WHEREAS, Motorola in submitting a bid for the system also
included a bid to maintain the system after the expiration of
warranty; and
WHEREAS, this was an aspect of the original bid system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute a
contract with Motorola for the maintenance of radio equipment
for a period of one year, with an option to renew on a
year -to -year basis up to three years, in an amount not to exceed
$278,844 per year.
