RESOLUTION NO. 8,996
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A WRECKER
FRANCHISE CONTRACT EXTENSION FOR AN
ADDITIONAL TWO YEARS (OCTOBER 16,
1993 TO OCTOBER 15, 1995) WITH ROUTH
WRECKER SERVICE.

WHEREAS, on July 18, 1991, bids were taken for a wrecker
franchise for the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 8572 (September 17, 1991) awarded the
franchise to Routh Wrecker Service; and
WHEREAS, on October 16, 1991, a two -year agreement was
entered into by the City and Routh Wrecker Service, with an option
to extend for an additional two years upon Board approval; and
WHEREAS, due to the excellent services provided by Routh,
staff recommends the contract be extended for an additional two
years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to extend the
contract with Routh Wrecker Service for an additional two years
(October 16, 1993 to October 15, 1995) per the terms of the
original contract agreement.
