A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
CONVEYING THE CITY'S INTEREST IN
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 609 EAST 17TH
STREET TO WORTHEN NATIONAL BANK.
WHEREAS, the City desires to divest itself of its interest
in property located at 609 East 17th Street; and
WHEREAS, the subject property is part of a Model Block
program; and
WHEREAS, an advertisement for bid was published in the
Daily Record and Arkansas Democrat - Gazette which stipulated that
the purchaser would build a new affordable home to meet or exceed
the City's new affordable home standard within 120 days; and
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Worthen National
Bank.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to
execute a quitclaim deed to convey the City's interest in property
located at 609 East 17th Street to Worthen National Bank for
$3,700.00.
