A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE
PRIVATE INDUSTRY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, Section 102(a) "Establishment of Private
Industry Councils" of the Job Training Partnership Act, as
amended August 6, 1992, created one position in a new
category - Public Assistance Agency; and added one position
each to Community -based and Organized Labor Categories which
reduced the Private Sector from twelve (12) members to ten
(10) members.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following named persons are hereby
appointed as members of the Private Industry Council:
Shirley Thomas, appointed to a three year term
expiring May 3, 1996 (Public Assistance Agency).
Earl L. Moore, Jr., appointed to a three year term
expiring May 3, 1996 (Community -based Agency).
Gary Dreher, appointed to a three year term
expiring May 3, 1996. (Labor).
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
