A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILiaNGNESS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK TO UTILIZE FEDERAL -AID SURFACE
TRANSPORTATION FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF GUIs
SPRINGS ROAD FROM MABELVALE PIKE TO PATTERSON ROAD,
A 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECT.

- WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock understands Federal -Aid
Surface 'Transportation funds are available for projects on
City
streets at the following Federal participating ratios; and
WHEREAS,' this project will widen and reconstruct
this
section of Gum Springs to bollector standards, with curb
and
gutter, sidewalks, and underground storm drainage.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City of Little Rock will participate in
accordance with its designated responsibility in this project.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts
necessary to expedite the construction of the improvements of
City street.
SECTION 3: The City of Little Rock pledges its full
support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas State Highway and
Transportation Department to initiate action to construct this
project.
