A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE THE ALLEY RUNNING
EAST AND WEST IN THE BLOCK BOUNDED BY WEST 12TH
STREET, WEST 13TH STREET, PEYTON STREET AND
WASHINGTON STREET IN BLOCK 1 OF BUHLER'S NINTH
ADDITION AND BLOCK 3 OF S. J. JOHNSON ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the
26th day of January, 1993, asking the Board of Directors
to vacate and abandon all of the east -west alley in the
block bounded by West 12th Street, West 13th Street, Peyton
Street and Washington Street in Block 1 of H. F. Buhler's
Ninth Addition and Block 3 of Sidney J. Johnson Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the
plats of said Additions now appearing of record in Plat Book
4, Page 180 (Buhler's Ninth Addition) and Deed Book AB, Page
282 (Johnson Addition), in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public
utility easements located in said alley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 20th day of April , 1993 .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
