RESOLUTION NO. 8,841
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
TRANSFER OF $500,000 FROM THE PARR
IMPROVEMENT BOND FUND INTO THE WEST
LITTLE ROCK PARK PROJECT FUND AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the 1988 Capital Improvement Bond Fund included
a 1,000,000 item for acquiring, constructing, equipping or
renovating a park in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock
has already appropriated $500,000 of this sum for a fund to
purchase a park site within the City; and
WHEREAS, after a careful selection process the City has
selected a park site in western Little Rock and has negotiated
a price of $1,250,000 to acquire fee simple title in the
property; and
WHEREAS it is necessary to fund the bond appropriation
account for the full $1,000,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The sum of $500,000 is hereby transferred
from the park improvement bond fund into Account No.
301 - 230 -049 for the West Little Rock Park Project.
