A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO RENEW THE CONTRACT WITH
THE PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF
AMERICA TO PROVIDE CITY EMPLOYEES
HEALTH AND LIFE INSURANCE BENEFITS
FOR A ONE YEAR PERIOD COMMENCING
JANUARY 1, 1993.
WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 8,385 (October
16, 1990), authorized a contract with Prudential Insurance Company
of America to provide health and life insurance benefits for City
of Little Rock employees, commencing January 1, 1991; and
WHEREAS, this renewal will represent the third year of a
three year contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to renew
the contract with the Prudential Insurance Company of America to
provide health and life insurance benefits to City employees for
one year, commencing January 1, 1993.
