RESOLUTION NO. 8.778
A RESOLUTION DEFERRING THE APPEAL OF
DENIAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
FOR SECOND GENESIS MINISTRIES AT
2212 SOUTH FILLMORE STREET IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Second Genesis filed an application for a
conditional use permit at 2212 South Fillmore in Little Rock,
Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the application was effectively denied by action
of the Little Rock Planning Commission on July 14, 1992, when
the action failed to receive six affirmative votes for the
second time; and
WHEREAS, the applicant filed a timely appeal to the Little
Rock Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, during an agenda meeting on Wednesday, August 26,
1992, several issues were raised which the applicants hoped to
address before a public hearing on the appeal is heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Based upon the request of the applicant and in
an attempt to get a full airing of all issues before the Board
takes action, the appeal in this matter will be deferred until
October 6, 1992. It is the intention of the Board of Directors
that this deferral shall in no way affect the appellate remedies
available to the applicants concerning this request for a
conditional use permit.
