A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD ANNUAL CONTRACTS
FOR THE PURCHASE OF POLICE UNIFORMS AND
ACCESSORIES FOR THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE
DEPARTMENT.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award annual contracts to the lowest qualified bidder, with
the exception of items 3 -6 (shirts), as set forth in the attached
bid tabulations, in an amount of $83,595.50, for the purchase of
uniforms and accessories for the Little Rock Police Department.
SECTION 2, The City Manager is further authorized to
extend the contracts for one additional year per the terms of the
bid specifications.

swing shirt was specified which allows the officer additional
space when wearing protective bodv armor and the low bidder.
Farriors, failed to meet this specification. It is further
recommended that this contract be extended one additional year as
ner terms and with City Manager anproval.
