A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE AND CLOSE THE NORTH HALF OF
ZION STREET BETWEEN 40TH AND 41ST STREETS,
ABUTTING BLOCKS 68 AND 93, JOHN BARROW ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the
23rd day of April F 1992, asking the Board of
Directors to vacate and abandon the north half of Zion
Street between 40th and 41st Streets, abutting Lots 7, 8 and
9, Block 68 and Lots 4, 5 and 6, Block 93, John Barrow
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated
on the plat of said Addition now appearing of record in
Plat Book 1, Page 55, in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public
utility easements located in said streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 18th day of August
1992.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
