A RESOLUTION INCREASING AUTHORIZATIONS
FOR CDBG GENERAL ADMINISTRATION FOR THE
18TH PROGRAM YEAR (1992 -93) FROM
$205,000 TO $230,000 AND FOR CDBG
HOUSING REHABILITATION ADMINISTRATION
FROM $185,000 TO $195,000.

WHEREAS, the City has received through the Department
of Housing and Urban Development $1,135,000 in HOME Investment
Partnership entitlement funds from the Department of Housing and
Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the funds must be administered by the CDBG housing
program staff because administrative costs may not be charged; and
WHEREAS, due to unexpected administrative and planning
responsibilities, a planned staff reduction is inadvisable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The increase for CDBG General Administration
for the 18th Program Year is hereby increased from $205,000 to
$230,000, and for Housing Rehabilitation Administration from
$185,000 to $195,000 is hereby approved.
SECTION 2: Necessary funds for the recommended increases
are available from an unallocated balance of approximately
$130,000 in the City's federal letter of credit with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
