A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO L9 2
ALLOCATE FONDS FROM THE 1988 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FOND FOR THE PURCHASE AND
INSTALLATION OF AN HVAC SYSTEM FOR THE
MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY LOCATED IN
WHEREAS, Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance Number 15,473 and
15,499 appropriated $200,000 for Museum of Science and History
building improvements including renovation of heating and air
conditioning system; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department and the City
building maintenance staff have determined that it is not feasible
to repair existing system components.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
allocate funds from the 1988 Capital Improvement Bond Fund
appropriated by Little Rock, Ark., Ordinance No. 15,473 and 15,499
to Account No. 301 - 900 - 0042 -9020 for the purchase and installation
of an HVAC system for the Museum of Science and History located in
MacArthur Park.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to N.L.R. Plumbing and General Contracting in
an amount not to exceed $134,350 for the purchase and
installation of the HVAC system.
