A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER 189
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD AN ANNUAL CONTRACT
TO OPERATE A PARKING LOT ON CITY PROPERTY
IACATED AT SECOND AND SCOTT STREETS.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept
bids and award an annual contract to Allright L.R., Inc. in the
amount of $33,600 a year in twelve monthly installments, to lease
City property located at Second and Scott Streets for the purpose
of operating a parking lot.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is further authorized to renew
the contract for two additional years per the terms of the bid.

RECOMMENDATION AND DISCUSSION: Bids were taken to award a
contract to operate a parking lot on city property located at 2nd
& Scott. The existing contract is being cancelled as per the
terms of the contract by the leasee, Allright L.R. Inc. Allright
L.R. Inc. offered the highest bid to the city guaranteeing
$33,600 a year in twelve monthly installments. It is recommended
that we accept their offer and that the contract be renewable for
two additional pears if approved by the City Manager as per the
terms of the bid.
