A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM
DEED CONVEYING THE CITY'S INTEREST IN
L(YPS 10, 11 AND 12, BLACK 1, EBENDALE
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK.
WHEREAS, in the process of cutting weeds, clearing lots and
charging the cost of such activity to the owner of the property,
the City filed a lien to recoup its costs of cleaning Lots 10,
11 and 12, Block 1, Ebendale Addition to the City of Little
Rock; and
WHEREAS, on April 10, 1991, the City foreclosed its lien
and received a Commissioner's Deed from the Pulaski County
Chancery Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the City has received an offer from a citizen to
purchase said property from the City for $500 cash
consideration; and
WHEREAS, the abandonment of the public use for this
property is justified by the grantee's agreement to maintain the
lot; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to convey
its interest in the property to the citizen and thereby recoup
its expenses for lot clearance and return the lot to private
ownership and maintenance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a quitclaim deed to convey the City's interest in
Lots 10, 11 and 12, Block 1, Ebendale Addition to the City of
Little Rock to Reverend Eldon Church, Pastor of the Church of
the Living God, for $500 cash consideration, upon the condition

that the Grantee assume the responsibility for maintenance of
the property and to pay all back taxes and future taxes as they
become due on said property.
