WHEREAS, in the process of cutting weeds, clearing lots and charging the cost of such activity to the owner of the property, the City filed a lien to recoup its costs of cleaning Lots 10, 11 and 12, Block 1, Ebendale Addition to the City of Little Rock; and WHEREAS, on April 10, 1991, the City foreclosed its lien and received a Commissioner's Deed from the Pulaski County Chancery Clerk; and WHEREAS, the City has received an offer from a citizen to purchase said property from the City for $500 cash consideration; and WHEREAS, the abandonment of the public use for this property is justified by the grantee's agreement to maintain the lot; and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to convey its interest in the property to the citizen and thereby recoup its expenses for lot clearance and return the lot to private ownership and maintenance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1.
