RESOLUTION NO. 8,653
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF RIGHT -OF -WAY OF
DOUGLASS STREET BETWEEN BLOCKS 24 AND 17, JOSEPHINE
PANKEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 3rd
day of February, 1992, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon a portion of right -of -way pursuant to.
Arkansas Code Annotated Sec. 14 -54 -104 (1987) described as
follows:
Douglass Street from Derrick Street east to the
alley, abutting Lot 12, Block 24, and Lot 7, Block
17, Josephine Pankey Third Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas;
subject, however, to an easement for public utilities and
drainage.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said Petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
6:00 o'clock P.M. on the 3rd day of March 1 1992
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
