8640Sam MM M M RESOLUTION 5.640 51 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS WAIVING THE NORMAL ZONING RIGHT -OF -WAY DEDICATIONS FOR EXISTING BUSINESSES IN EXTRATERRITORIAL AREA II AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock decided to extraterritorially zone the area, generally between Denny Road and Baseline Road outside the city limits; and, WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Little Rock to regulate development, to encourage a more efficient and orderly development pattern; and, WHEREAS, an existing business in this area should not add significantly to the traffic demands on the street system; and, WHEREAS, existing businesses have not asked for the area to be zoned nor have they asked for added benefits, but rather only to be able to continue to operate their business. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK. SECTION 1. That for all non - single family residential extraterritorial zoning of existing businesses developed by City Staff in the Area II, generally between Denny Road and Baseline Road, no right -of -way dedication shall be required as part of this zoning action. SECTION 2. That for all existing non - single family residential uses within the above mentioned area no right -of -way shall be required during the zoning process for a period of six months from the date of passage of the Extraterritorial Area II rezoning package.
