A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERIC TO EXECUTE A
QUITCLAIM DEED TO CONVEY THE CITY'S
INTEREST IN LOT 1, BLOCK 3,
CHATTANOOGA ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the City owns an undivided partial interest in
property known as 3201 South Arch Street, a vacant lot legally
described as Lot 1, Block 3, Chattanooga Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, the owners of a contiguous lot have expressed an
interest in acquiring 3201 South Arch Street from the City; and
WHEREAS, the City has no contemplated public use for the
property and it is in the best interest of the citizens of the
City to divest its interest in the property so that it can be
maintained under private ownership.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby, authorized
to execute a quitclaim deed of 3201 South Arch Street, legally
described as Lot 1, Block 3, Chattanooga Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas to Lawrence Jones and Richmond Jones for
the cash consideration of $2,000.
