RESOLUTION NO. 8,629
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
REIMBURSE ARKANSAS LOUISIANA GAS COMPANY FOR
THE RELOCATION OF A 10" GAS LINE IN KANIS PARR
AND FOR THE RELOCATION OF A 10" GAS LINE AT
36TH STREET OF THE FOURCHE CREEK PROJECT, PHASE
III AND IV.
WHEREAS, a local cooperation agreement with the Corps of
Engineers requires the City of Little Rock to be responsible for
utility relocations; and
WHEREAS, this relocation was part of the construction
necessary to relocate gas lines that conflicted with channel
improvements along Rock Creek; and
WHEREAS, the City has an official policy concerning the
costs of certain relocations as set forth in Little Rock,
Arkansas, Resolution Number 7,487.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
reimburse Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company $51,174.90 for the
relocation of a 10" gas line in Kanis Park and $32,966.11 for the
relocation of a 10n gas line at 36th Street on the Fourche Creek
Project, Phase III and IV.
SECTION 2: Said funds are available in Account No.
499- 220 -8666.
