A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO AIJIX`ATE FUNDS FROM THE 1988 CAPITAL
IMPROVE4ENT FUND FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
THE SOUTHWEST LITTLE ROCK COMMUNITY
COMPLEX; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A DESIGN CONTRACT
WITH WITTENBERG, DELONEY & DAVIDSON FOR
THE PROJECT.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15,473 appropriated $1,000,000 for
construction of a police substation, and $8,690,000 for parks
and recreation improvements; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 15,499 appropriated $105,000 for the
Southwest Community Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
allocate an additional $100,000 from the 1988 Capital
Improvement Bond Fund appropriated for the police substation to
Account No. 301 - 230 -0051 for the Southwest Little Rock Community
Complex.
SECTION 2: Pursuant to Section 2 -243 of the Little Rock
Code of Ordinances, the City Manager is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with Wittenberg, Deloney & Davidson in the
amount of $158,325 for architectural work including landscape
architecture for the Southwest Little Rock Community Complex.
Further, the City Manager is authorized to approve change orders
to the contract as long as such change orders do not exceed the
cost estimate set forth in this resolution.
