A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH VARIOUS
ENGINEERING FIRMS FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
FIVE 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BOND PROJECTS.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 2 -243 of the Little Rock
Code of Ordinances, the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into contracts for engineering services for five 1988 Capital
Improvement Bond projects as follows:
(a) Robert J. Richardson Consulting Engineer in an
amount not to exceed $28,750, for the 28th Street
Barrow to Gilman Street project.
(b) Grimes Consulting Engineers, Inc. in an amount not
to exceed $36,177, for the Bryant street, Asher to
30th Street project.
(c) Blaylock, Threet, Phillips and Associates, Inc.
in an amount not to exceed $72,400 for the Mabelvale
Cutoff, Chicot to Geyer Springs project.
(d) Development Consultants, Inc. in an amount not to
exceed $29,550, for the Boyce & 21st Street project.
(e) AMI Engineering, Inc. in an amount not to exceed
$33,780 for the Romine, Ware & 40th Street project.
SECTION 2: Funds are available in Account No.
301- 220- 0061 -0007 for the 28th Street project; Account No.
301 - 220 - 0061 -0008 for the Bryant Street project; Account No.
301 - 220 -0229 for the Mabelvale Cutoff project; Account No.
301 - 220 - 0061 -0005 for the Boyce Street project; and Account No.
301- 220- 0061 -0010 for the Romine Street project.
