A RESOLDTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT TO
E. C. ROWLETT CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE 1991 HOT -MIX ASPHALT
STREET RESURFACING PROGRAM.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is authorized to accept bids
and award a contract to E. C. Rowlett Construction Co. in an
amount not to exceed $779,307 (base bid less deductive alternative
plus $63,243.54 in contingency funds) for the construction of the
1991 Hot -Mix Asphalt Street Resurfacing Program.
SECTION 2: Funding for this program is available from (1)
1991 Budget Resurfacing Appropriation, Account No. 210 - 220 -0141;
(2) 1988 Bond Issue Appropriation for W. 7th Street Improvements,
Account No. 301 - 220 -0067; (3) Community Development Block Grant
funds appropriated for the Pankey Area.
