5 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK CERTIFYING LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENDORSEMENT OF
6 DEMOCRAT PRINTING AND LITHOGRAPHING COMPANY TO
7 PARTICIPATE IN THE ARKANSAS ENTERPRISE ZONE PROGRAM.

9 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has an approved zone
10 designation for Census Tract 40.03, Block Group 9, and
11 Census Tract 1, Block Group 1, within the corporate limits
12 of the City of Little Rock, and
13 WHEREAS, the local government must endorse a business
14 or enterprise to participate in the Arkansas Enterprise Zone
15 Program and benefit from the exemptions as provided in Part
16 IV of the Arkansas Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of
17 1983, and
18 WHEREAS, said endorsement must be made on specific
19 forms available from AIDC, and
20 WHEREAS, Democrat Printing and Lithographing Company,
21 located at 6401 Lindsey Road and 114 East Second Street, has
22 been determined by the management of the Enterprise Zone as
23 an appropriate applicant, and
24 WHEREAS, Democrat Printing and Lithographing Company
25 has agreed to furnish to management of the Enterprise Zone,
26 all necessary information for compliance.
27 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
28 DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
29 SECTION 1. Democrat Printing and Lithographing Company
30 shall be endorsed by the City of Little Rock for benefit
31 from the exemptions as provided in Part IV of the Arkansas
32 Enterprise Zone Program Regulations of 1983.
33 SECTION 2. The Mayor is authorized to sign the
34 required Certificate of Local Government Endorsement.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its adoption and approval.
